This is “how we live” policy.
Many companies have environmental policies that do not have a real effect of reducing their impact on the environment. Our Goal is to ensure that our environmental policy is enacted every day in what we do; demonstrated principally by the way that we provide our services and conduct business. Some examples of this are:
- Always recycling office paper and printing on both sides of the paper
- Encouraging the use of electronic copies for all information rather than paper copies
- Disposing of computers using environmentally friendly methods
- Supplying energy efficient desktop computers from Dell Corporation with Energy Star 4.0 compliance, TCO and EPEAT Gold certified with Dell Energy Smart settings. Our most popular systems are ranked at the top tier of environmental performance by the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool
- Making the choice to purchase carbon offsetting when travelling on airlines
- Using computer settings to turn off components (such as monitors and hard disks) automatically when not in use (yes, we’ll show you how as well
